Vladimir Božović, Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in New York, had the honor of attending the AJC Global Forum, the premier international conference on Jewish advocacy and global dialogue, held in New York City from April 27 to 29, 2025. The Forum brought together more than 2,000 participants from around the world — members of the diplomatic corps, government officials, academics, representatives of Jewish organizations and religious communities, members of the media, and leaders in international security, policy, and civil society. Attendees heard from influential speakers and took part in discussions addressing the most pressing issues facing the Jewish people, Israel, the United States, and the broader international community. During the Forum, Božović had a warm and meaningful meeting with AJC President and CEO Mr. Ted Deutch, and engaged in conversations with numerous distinguished officials and experts. Discussions focused on global challenges, the importance of interethnic dialogue, and the role of diaspora communities in strengthening international relations. Notably, he met with Rabbi Noam Marans, AJC's Director of Interreligious Affairs, engaging in an open and constructive conversation about the importance of enhancing interfaith dialogue and building bridges of understanding between diverse religious communities. Participation in this important event offered valuable insights and experiences for our people and community in the United States, contributing to a deeper understanding of today’s geopolitical and security developments, while also opening new avenues for cooperation rooted in respect, solidarity, and shared values. #AJC #AJCGlobalForum
