Consul General Vladimir Bozovic met with Mr. Zoran Knezevic, President of Serbian Academy of Science and Arts (SANU), during his business trip to Belgrade

During his ongoing business stay in Belgrade, Consul General Vladimir Bozovic had the privilege of meeting Mr. Zoran Knezevic, President of the Serbian Academy of Science and Arts (SANU). On this occasion, Consul General Bozovic expressed enthusiasm about strengthening ties between SASA and American academic circles, emphasizing the importance of fostering intellectual exchange and promoting Serbian talent on the global stage. Discussions centered on enhancing partnerships in research, education, and cultural endeavors, with a focus on nurturing the next generation of Serbian scholars and artists.

Consul General Bozovic also had the honor of attending the presentation of the collected works of Mr. Miro Vuksanovic, a distinguished writer and esteemed member of SANU. Additionally, Consul General Bozovic met Mr. Aleksa Djilas, a prominent intellectual who was one of the leading voices in the Serbian diaspora. Mr. Djilas, son of the renowned writer and Yugoslav dissident Milovan Djilas, shared valuable insights into the political and cultural landscape, as well as intellectual pursuits within the Serbian community abroad.
