As we observe the 25th anniversary of the NATO bombardment of Serbia in 1999, we solemnly honor and commemorate the sacrifices endured by our people. March 1999 to March 2024 encapsulates a quarter-century since our nation endured the illegal and inhuman assault.

We cannot forget the devastation inflicted upon our sovereign land, then - the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, an internationally recognized member of the United Nations. The bombardment, carried out without the approval of the UN Security Council, remains a stain on the conscience of those who orchestrated it, participated in it, or sought to justify it. May the innocent souls lost during those dark days rest in eternal peace, and may their memory continue to inspire our quest for justice and reconciliation."

As we reflect on this somber milestone, we reaffirm our commitment to justice, truth, and remembrance. We stand united in our determination to ensure that the sacrifices of our people are never forgotten, and that those responsible are held to account.

Let us strive to ensure that the lessons learned from this tragic experience guide us in building a bright future for Serbia and its people, rooted in compassion and integrity.
