The National Prayer Breakfast is one of the most well-known and longstanding prestigious events in the United States, with the purpose to bring together people of different religions and political beliefs from around the world in the capital city of the U.S., Washington D.C, in the spirit of the values promoted by Jesus Christ during his earthly life, calling for love and peace among people. At the same time, it represents the largest gathering of political, national, and religious leaders in the world after the United Nations General Assembly.

President of the United States, Joe Biden, addressed those present, stating that peace in conflict-affected regions of the world is not only in the prayers but also in the actions taken to find peaceful solutions.

This year, participants in the National Prayer Breakfast included numerous distinguished individuals, entrepreneurs, diplomats, political, and religious leaders from as many as 127 countries worldwide, including the Republic of Serbia. In addition to the Prayer Breakfast itself, guests participated in several seminars: "Reconciliation and Forgiveness," "Promoting Care and Support for People living with Disabilities," "First Nations: When the Land Hears," "The Essence of Jesus' Teaching to His Followers" "Religious Freedoms," as well as a seminar dedicated to children worldwide who have grown up in orphanages and found new families.

On the sidelines of the event, Bozovic met with a large number of participants from Balkan countries and other parts of the world who, despite other differences, are all united by their love for God, respect for faith, and a shared idea greater than everyone – peace for all people, regardless of their origin, national identity, faith, or political orientation.

The Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in New York is participating in several seminars today, placing special emphasis on religious freedoms and freedom of speech, as the foundations of the United States. During all of his meetings, Bozovic emphasized and promoted these values that are also cherished by both the Republic of Serbia and the Serbian people.

"It is a great honor for me to be here today, in the company of esteemed diplomats, political, and religious leaders from around the world. I am happy that organizers recognized my wish to contribute to the reconciliation of people in our region and all other conflict-affected areas. Today, more than ever, we need to be united in our love for God, regardless of which God we worship, and to refrain from any further escalation of conflicts in the world," said Bozovic after the National Prayer Breakfast.
