Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in New York, Vladimir Bozovic, had a series of significant official meetings this Friday, January 12th.

The meetings, held separately with Bozovic’s counterparts from Greece, Norway, and Denmark in New York, aimed to foster mutual cooperation and enhance bilateral relations.

During the meeting with the Consul General of Greece, Dinos Konstantinou, Bozovic emphasized the strong bond between the two Balkan nations and expressed gratitude to Greece for the support the country has provided to the Republic of Serbia and the Serbian people during challenging years in the recent past. Konstantinou warmly thanked Bozovic for this gesture, hoping that this day marks the beginning of even closer ties and stronger cooperation between the two countries and their representatives in New York.

Consul General next met with the Consul General of Kingdom of Norway in New York, Heidi Olufsen. The two agreed that bilateral relations between the two countries are very good, and Bozovic expressed gratitude for the assistance and continuous support that Norway provides to Serbia through numerous projects, which has intensified in recent years, following the efforts of the Republic of Serbia to fully integrate into the EU.

Finally, this afternoon, Bozovic met with the Consul General of Denmark in New York, Berit Basse, who briefed him on the trends in public and cultural diplomacy of her country.

The Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in New York, speaking after the meetings, expressed optimism about the outcomes achieved and regarded them as a significant step toward further strengthening diplomatic ties. These meetings served as a platform to develop new connections, establish new partnerships, and promote understanding, contributing to the overall advancement of Serbia's bilateral relations with Greece, Norway, and Denmark.
