Last night, Consul General of the Republic of Serbia in New York, Dr. Vladimir Bozovic, ceremoniously opened the astonishing group exhibition of Serbian contemporary artists titled "Finding a Way" at the MC Gallery in New York. In his address, the Consul General welcomed all present visitors and expressed gratitude to Mrs. Marija Milosevic, the director of the "Art for All" gallery in Belgrade, who organized the exhibition and curated the showcased works. Dr. Vladimir Bozovic emphasized that projects like this, bridging cultural and geographical distances and speaking a universally understood language of art, help Serbia and the United States "find a way" back to each other as true friends and strategic partners. The Consul General extended special thanks to Mrs. Elizabeth Escobar, the spouse of former U.S. Ambassador to Belgrade, Gabriel Escobar, without whom this project would not have been possible. Mrs. Escobar, with emotional words and a poem she wrote as part of her fondest memories from Belgrade, greeted the attendees. A significant number of members from the Serbian community in New York attended, providing a splendid opportunity for gathering and connecting. Impressive paintings by Nikola Bozovic, Aleksandar Mladenovic, Vladislav Scepanovic, Tijana Kojic, Goran Cpajak, Jovanka Mladenovic, Djordje Stanojevic, Vuk Vuckovic, Ivan Milenkovic, and Kristina Bajilo were exhibited.
